Frame Academy, established by Jonathan Newell, was initially set-up to provide quality and affordable picture framing, servicing local artists and the community. However, the business quickly began to develop a reputation as somewhere to buy professional, affordable original art.

Case Study
Whenever we visited Frame Academy, there was always a wide variety of paintings on display. The shop whilst providing an excellent framing service, was also providing space for new emerging artists to show case their work. Realising the breadth of this opportunity we discussed the idea of diversifying his enterprise, making recommendations to promote these artists in local venues around Belfast.
The success of this business evolution can be measured in terms of local talent Francis McCrory being exhibited, and then going on to receive the prestigious award for emerging artist of the year from the Royal Ulster Academy.
